Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
This page describes how UptimeChecks.app handles data and privacy. It will be updated as the product evolves.
What the service does
UptimeChecks.app monitors public HTTP(S) endpoints and delivers incident notifications into Slack. We store the minimal configuration and incident history needed to run these features.
Data we store
- Slack workspace identifiers and basic metadata (workspace name).
- Monitor configuration (URLs, intervals, timeouts, keywords, expected status codes).
- Incident and state-transition history for reporting.
- Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, and plan information for billing.
Data we do not store
- Slack message histories or private channel content.
- Payment card data — handled entirely by Stripe.
- HTTP response bodies from your monitored endpoints (only checked in-memory, never persisted).
- Personal data beyond what is necessary for the monitoring service.
Third-party services
UptimeChecks.app relies on Cloudflare (hosting, Workers, D1 database), Slack (messaging and OAuth), and Stripe (billing). Each provider has their own privacy policies governing how they process data.
Data retention
Incident history is retained based on your plan (7 days for Free, 30 days for Starter, 90 days for Pro). Monitor configuration is retained until you delete the monitor or uninstall the app.
